Rules and Regulations

All existing and newly admitted students should read ALL the points carefully before applying/check-in to Hostel accommodation at the beginning of every academic year. These rules are also available in the College website www.nrsmc.edu.in. Violation of any of the rules stating ignorance will not be accepted and will attract strict disciplinary action.

Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and considered as punishable offence as per law (F No.37-3/Legal/AICTE/2009 regulations) 

Use, possession or storage of narcotic substances, alcoholic beverage and combustible materials such as firecrackers, ammunitions and explosives are strictly prohibited in the hostels. Trespassing in any form is strictly prohibited. Movement of boarders (except interns residing at Boys' Hostel) also, between 10 PM to 6 AM will be considered as trespassing

Scribbling/Scratching on the walls, breaking, touching the CCTV cameras and damaging property the disciplinary action will be taken against the violators/defaulters.

Use of high energy consuming electrical appliances like heater, room heater, A/C, Refrigerator, TV etc in hostel room is strictly prohibited in the hostel. Hostel accommodation(roon) can be changed by the management if they find the same is necessary at any point of time, no mutual change of room is allowed without permission of hostel superintendent.

The hostel management reserves the right to carry out spot-checks of the hostels and the rooms anytime without giving prior notice to the Hostel Residents.

No guests are allowed inside without the permission of the Hostel Superintendants.

Boarders are strongly advised to keep custody of their valuables at all times. The College will not be responsible for any loss and no claim will be entertained in this regard

Any behavioral change of a boarder or undue absence without prior intimation must be brought to notice of the authority by the boarders without any delay. Complaints in any form must be communicated to the hostel superintendent/competent authority at the earliest.

It is expected that all boarders would conduct themselves in a disciplined manner befitting the honor, tradition, and respectability of the institution and the profession. Misbehaving with the security personnel or other support staff will be considered equivalent to vandalism.

At the end of their curriculum the residents are to vacate their rooms within 7 days strictly, failing which completion certificates will not be issued.
