Traininig of dialysis technician & academic sesseion of B.Sc nursing student  runnig.

Dialysis services started in Nilratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital in the year 1993 in the name of S. P Roy Dialysis unit with only four Machines. Then after dialysis services steadily added to other departments also like CCU medicine, CTVS in cardiothoracic, HDU in gynaecology, Paediatric Medicine and in Renal Transplant Unit in Urology O.T. Quality Dialysis service is one of the great feature of the Department.

Nephrology of Nilratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital has been conducting a paramedical training course in the name "Diploma in Dialysis Techniques" since 2012.  More than 150 students have passed out so far from this institute and are working in various government Medical Colleges as well as private Hospitals. The department thus empowers the society by producing skilled dialysis technicians.
