In the realm of biochemistry,every atom is a storyteller, revealing the secrets of life’s molecular dance, unlocking the greatest mysteries of life

 

The Department of Biochemistry is enriched with the teaching of many experienced Stalwart for decades. Our department is involved in Udergraduate and Post graduate teaching along with providing Laboratory Services to the patients. It is well equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory for under graduate and post graduate students.

With fully functioning automated modern instrument, SERVICE LABORATORY of our department is generating reports of lots of hormonal parameters, tumour markers as well as some special biochemical parameter. Our CENTRAL LABORATORY caters a large portion of the patients with their prompt diagnostic services. Our moto is to provide accurate laboratory reports in proper time.

We are now performing advance molecular/genetic study as well as ANA profiling by IIFT. We encourage young minds to do research activities using our modern techniques.

The dedicated faculty members, residents and the non-teaching staff work tirelessly to uphold the dignity of the department and to maintain the legacy of our college.

Competency Based Undergraduate Curriculum has been implemented from August 2019, i.e. MBBS batch admitted in first year. Competency based education has been defined as an outcome-based approach to the design, implementation, assessment and evaluation of a medical education program using an organizing framework of competencies.
