1. Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors of the department completed RBCW and CISP training Programme of Medical Education.
2. Professor (Dr.) Sharmistha Biswas Acted as faculty in RBCW held in NRSMC in August, 2021.
3. Professor (Dr) Sharmistha Biswas Acted as chairperson in 68th National Conference of Anatomical
Society of India, held on Jan,2022.
4. Faculties of the Department attended the Fever clinic and Telemedicine duties on regular basis.
5. New PGTs admitted in this year and they are working on following thesis:
a)Dr. Arpita Sen: Comparative anthropometric and dermatoglyphics study between obese and non obese Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in a Tertiary Care Hospital. Under guidance:Dr. Pallab Kumar Saha, Dr. (Prof.) Abhijit Bhakta, Dr. Soumik Goswami.
b) Dr. Ankan Shubhra Kundu: A case control study on Dermatoglyphics in Alopecia Areata at a Tertiary Care Hospital, Kolkata. Under guidance : Dr. (Prof.) Abhijit Bhakta, Dr. (Prof.) Arun Achar, Dr. (Prof.) Dibakar Haldar.
c) Dr. Preeti Mehta: Morphological and morphometric study of foramina of interior of skull base in Eastern Indian population. Under guidance: Dr. (Prof.) Sharmistha Biswas, Dr. Pallab Kumar Saha.
d) Dr. Upasana Ghosh : Morphological and Morphometric Study of the Maxillary Sinus and Frontal Sinus using Computed Tomography Scan in Gender Assessment and Detecting Anatomical Variations. : Prof. (Dr) Sharmistha Biswas, Dr. Malay Karmakar, Dr. Sanchita Roy.
6. A Cadaveric Workshop on the Operations on Vertebral Column was held from the Department of Orthopaedics, NRSMC, in collaboration with The Department of Anatomy, NRSMC, on 24.06.2023.
7. A Skull Base Neurosurgery Hands -on Cadaveric Workshop & Cadaveric Hands -on Workshop with Audiovisual Demonstration was held from the Department of Neurosurgery, NRSMC, in collaboration with The Department of Anatomy, NRSMC, on 28.09.2023.
