INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE ADMISSION TO UG (MBBS) COURSES THROUGH STATE QUOTA AT N R S MEDICAL COLLEGE KOLKATA
Candidates are directed to read the instructions carefully before proceeding for admission

Every candidate must fill up the online Admission Form by clicking the 'GO' button at the bottom of this page and take a printout for submission to College Authority at the time of admission.

Fees: Total fees to be paid at the time of admission is Rs 6600/- (1st semester Tuition fees - Rs 4500/-, Admission fees – Rs 1000/-, Caution deposit – Rs 1000/-, and Union fees – Rs 100/-). The amount of Fees will be deposited through online mode during admission. An amount of Rs 5500/- is adjustable (for upgradation to Govt College of West Bengal)/refundable on upgradation/seat cancellation within permissible time limit.

Medical Certificate: Every candidate must bring a Medical Certificate in the proforma given here before reporting for admission. MC is to be issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner (click here to download the form for M.C).

Every candidate must fill up the Anti Ragging pledge document and submit the signed copy at the time of admission (click here for downloading the Anti Ragging form).

Parent/Guardian of every candidate also must sign and submit a separate Anti Ragging pledge document at the time of admission (click here for downloading the anti Ragging document for parents).

Candidates are required to fill up the 'Discontinuation Bond' on Non Judicial Stamp Paper of not less than Rs. 100/-, as per proforma given in WBMCC website (Click here).

Following original documents along with one self-attested photocopy of each, are required at the time of admission:

Successfully verified copy (online system generated).

Allotment Letter issued by WBMCC.

Proof of identity (Aadhar/Voter Card/Passport).

Candidate’s profile letter and proof of payment of counseling fee.

NEET UG Admit Card of Exam issued by NBE/NTA.

NEET UG Result/Rank letter issued by NBE/NTA.

Any one of - Birth Certificate/Admit Card of Class 10/Class 10 Pass Certificate. DOB must be on or before 01.01.2008.

Class 10+2 Pass Certificate (original also).

Class 10+2 Mark Sheet (original also).

Two (2) copies of Passport size photograph same as one affixed on the application.

Domicile certificate as per proforma given in WBMCC website (A1/A2/B/WB e-Domicile certificate in original also) as per the applicability. In case of Domicile B or E-domicile of parent, any 2 photo ID proof of either Father OR Mother showing residential address in West Bengal among Passport, Voter card, AADHAR Card. In case of E-domicile of candidate, any 1(one) ID proof among above three.

Medical Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner with the Medical Registration No. and official seal is required. (Original also.)

The Candidate should also bring the following certificate/s (original with photocopies) if applicable:

(a) SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority (in the standard format as specified in the prospectus/information bulletin) and it should be in English or Hindi in language. Sub caste should be clearly mentioned in the certificate. In case the certificate is in regional language, the candidate should carry one attested translated copy of the certificate in English/Hindi.

(b) OBC certificate issued by the competent authority on or before 9th March 2024 shall be applicable for the admission process. The OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer to claim OBC reservation benefit and for which an NCL certificate is required, and the NCL certificate must be issued on or after 01.04.2024. The OBC certificate must be in the standard format as mentioned in the prospectus/Information Bulletin.

(c) Valid Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Certificate must be issued on or after 01.04.2024 and for which Annexure C of State Government (as available on WBMCC website) or online EWS certificate must be issued only for state government.

(d) Disability Certificate issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board (at IPGMER Kolkata). No other PWD certificate issued by any other Authority/Hospital will be entertained.
Note:

The candidates are advised to bring a transparent folder with their names & NEET UG 2024 Roll No. labeled.

The candidates without original certificates/documents shall not be allowed to take admission.
Original 10+2 mark sheet & original pass certificate will be retained by the college authority against a receipt. This receipt has to be retained carefully during the entire duration of the course. This receipt needs to be submitted to the college authority in original for withdrawal of original documents after completion of the course.
Hostel allotment will be done after completion of the entire admission process only.
